    My watch is very Mysterious can not find any info in my research I know Mr Wallace was a very famous man there is a Wallace watch maker and a Wallace Sordier not sure were my watch fit in but I am positive it also has a place is history....
    The following markings and numers is on the inside of the watch and on the case 137050 OR 1370 50 and I OR L JTN 3 and 14C and W and 02 and a lion I think that is the silver stamp and a Q and something like a shield with 2 dots on top and one down in the middel
    I hope this will give more identification

      Looking at the dial. I would say it is a private lable. A private label watch is any watch that has a different name on the movement and or dial that is not that of the manufacturing company. Most of the time you will find these watches bear the name of a jeweler.

      If you look at the watch paper and the dial you will see William High, he was a watchmaker & jeweler from Arbroath, Scotland from late 1800's to very early 1900's. It is very possible Mr. Wallace was the owner of the watch at one time, having it worked on by William High. I would have to see the watch movement to further identify the watch. I hope some of this will help.
