    Beautiful is what this piece is ,the shape and the design ,bright colors are fabulous! The snake handle is my favorite part of the piece, it is marked with a blue under glaze crown and banner that reads Ironestone

      nice hydra jug
      copy of Masons hexagonal chartreuse or imari style that they made in the
      it might be ironstone, very clean if it is as it usually comes out a little more ivory.
      more likely a staffordshire potter, can't see the mark, if you post a front on photo of the base i will let you know...
