Sad to say it seems UTZ QUALITY FOODS, INC. will no longer be selling the cans filled with chips due to increased food safety regulations. Really sad to see such an American icon from childhood ceasing to exist. Although we can always buy bags from the stores. However, its just not the same.

They do indeed. Awesome potato chips. Love them. I'm going to miss the cans. I have 3. One is from several years ago.

Best chips in the world - they are similar to Cape Cod brand. very crunchy. Nice Utz can Aim. They make great pet food canisters too!

Can return? Is there a deposit on the can?
    11. Aimathena Aimathena, 11 years ago
Yes, they're returnable for can deposits until 2/9/2014
I don't want to rerurn mine, I want to get more cans before they stop selling them.

Interesting. I've never heard of such a thing.
    13. Aimathena Aimathena, 11 years ago
The notice from UTZ is in the first photo

I mean that I've never heard of such a thing like a deposit on a potato chip can. I thought deposits went away with the glass pop bottles that we used to take back to the gas station.
    15. Aimathena Aimathena, 11 years ago
I believe it was just their way of getting the cans back.

Phil, I missed your football games comment. For some reason I didn't receive an email notification on that one. You're right, these cans full of crispy golden goodies would be great for that ;^)

We used to get the cans when I was a kid here in Philadelphia.
    19. Aimathena Aimathena, 11 years ago
Hi Ron :^) thanks for the love and comment. I hope someone saved the cans ;^)
