I bought this ring a few months ago. Its marked 'Oria' and another mark I cant read.
This particular ring has a 1920's feeling to it. Its embellished by 3 tiny citrine stones.
I think oria is a bit the same as FIX jewelry: its made by a company in the mid 1850's till the beginning of the 20th century and it was made by plating a thick layer of gold on a copper background. This made it possible for relative poor people to own some jewelry in that era.
Its high quality, because the gold hasn't worn of anywhere and it had the look and feel of real gold. I know FIX was made in France near Paris, I dont know where Oria was made, but its the name of a small town in Italy. So if anyone has more information on Oria jewelry, please do tell.
Gorgeous, love the style/design.
Thanks Aimathena for loving my ring and your comments and thanks vetraio, freiheit, Moonstonelover and aghcollect for your loving
