This is an early ABP Cut glass Stawberry Diamond and Fan Cut Glass Pitcher. You can see the details in the cut glass on the Strawberry Diamonds. I purchased this item at an estate auction.

Cool, its gorgeous, i love its handle & spout too.
I still can't see how to tell cut glass from moulded though :-S
NJL,
May i ask
What does APB mean? i keep seeing it but finding it tricky to find a definition.
Oops i meant ABP, now I've found it, lol, American Brilliant Period.
American Brilliant Period = ABP. This is a Champagne Pitcher. As I indicated in the vase thread, Strawberry Diamond and Fan is a very old pattern dating back to the 1820's. It has been cut by numerous glass houses. Most notably would be Dorflinger. The handle is high on the pitcher and is how I dated it to CA 1870. Vintagefran, look at the detail in the diamonds. You can see the cuts, on yours they are rounded. Again, rub your hand across the diamond area and if it is smooth, then most like molded. You can feel the cuts in the glass.
Thank you for the loves by the way...
