    I wonder any one would have an opinion on this piece?
    It is a painting, watercolor (I think) MEASURES 9" X 4 1/4" (22cm x 10cm)
    *Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze" marked on the back in pencil~ Filippo Lippi / and what looks like FEDERIGO GIORGI ??
    Shame it's in poor shape! .....How old might this be??

      It would be a copy by Federigo Giorgi in the nineteenth century of an original by Lippi. The original is kept in the Uffizi in Florence.
      It was one of four panels painted by Lippi for an unknown project. This one takes the figure called the Vergine Annunziata and places her in a fanciful landscape.

      Annunciazione con angelo e santi, 1452-1453, cm. 57 x 24 ciascuna, tempera su tavola, Galleria degli Uffizi, Firenze.
