I recently bought this record for $10, but I see on the internet much higher prices for this record. How can I determine that this is an original record? Or could it also be a 2nd press or something?
Hope someone can inform me.
Here are the details:
Details of the record:
RCA Victor
G8-MW-8705
TV Guide presents Elvis Presley
Band1: "Pelvis" Nichname
Band2: Adult's Reaction
Band3: First Public Appearance
Band4: How Rockin Motion started
The back of this 45rpm single is completely black (no grooves)
The man who I bought it from, told me that it had been in the plastic sleeve for at least 20 years.
Thank you!
Its the real deal! Cataloge number checks out! It came out in 1956 Tv Guide and I seen one sell at auction for 1200.00 years ago. The Est. Value of this today is around 2,000.00-2500.00. GOOD BUY!! Dave

Shelly, you should post your items on here to share, I don't think anyone is going to call you about an estimate............sorry
Sorry to rain on your parade. But you have the reissue there...... the matrix # on the dead wax is hand written. The original is machine stamped.
