I recently bought this record and if I am informed correctly by the seller, the record was added to an old magazine in 1956.
I would like to buy the corresponding magazine, so I hope someone can tell me details of this magazine and maybe send me a photo of it.

Another question I have, is how scarce this flexi record is. (how many where pressed?)

    Thank you very much!

Was in 1957, called Weekend Mail magazine or paper. You had to send in a Coupon to Weekend and they sent you the record. Its actually a rare find, worth about 150.00=175.00 retail. Dave

The illustration above is of an American 45rpm pressing. According to 'Record
Collector' Rare Record Price Guide, the version issued in the U.K. in 1957 by
Weekend Mail was/is on a 6" 78RPM Disc. I can understand why, in Britain, at that time, the recording was issued on a 78, but why 6", a non-standard diameter.
(I hasten to add that I don't have either issue!!)

I have this but I live in Canada. I can't remember whether it was on a magazine, but I think it was. I have it put away safely and it's not easy for me to go get it right now, but I was just searching the internet to see if it was out there and was so happy to see that it is.

Mine looks different and is kind of beige or yellow in colour, but it's the same record...SO RARE...so great, so ELVIS!
