My work in progress as of 1-7-2014

I don't usually do this,but I have been snowed in for a while,so I started working on my "winter project"
This is a 1931 "Hawkeye Motor Patrol" road grader that used a John Deere D as the drivetrain,for those of you who don't know me,I LOVE JOHN DEERE D's!!!!!!
So I started with a 1960's/70's Ertl John Deere D in 1/64th scale (can be seen in the 2nd pic ,lower left hand corner)It is S-M-ALL!
cut up a new Ertl IH industrial tractor for the wheels and front end,and everything else is brass stock soldered together.Overall it is maybe 4 inches long now.I will post new pics as it progresses,since we are swamped at work,and getting out and about is harder to do these days,I will stick to this project for now!
