I was thinking this might possibly be Egyptian revival? The gold metal is very ornate looking. The oval 'stone' is a light blue that has white speckling/marbling. There's a silver deocoration center that reminds me of a scarab. If anyone has any thoughts on what period please comment. I don't know much about Egyptian revival so hopefully there's some experts out there!
This is lovely - I think it actually might be Chinese influenced? Something about that center design in the stone...
Thank you for your comment. I will try to do a search for Chinese influenced jewelry and see if I can find anything that way! Wish I knew what the silver symbol meant!
