Table lamps

I purchased these (I have two identical lamps) from a flea market vendor who told me I had to buy them if I wanted 2 watercolor paintings I wanted. I liked the lamps so I did. This was aprox. 15 yrs ago. She said she got them bidding on a "mystery box" from an estate.
The base is separate, made of cast metal. The body is either ceramic
or porcelain. the gold painted ( real gold?) is painted on a raised image
in the body. there are 2 images on each lamp. There are no cracks on either body nor on the base of either lamp. on the top of the body the gold painted ring is faded-the only fading. Behind my cat's toys you can see the textured design of the base. I find no company markings. I apologize for the photos. Any ideas who, when and where made?
