These 2 paintings are watercolor on rice paper-told to me by person that mounted and framed them. I think they are 10 by 14-though I can check again. the artist signed these DAiWAN the I looks like an exclamation point. the w inside lines are crossed and the capital N s are almost like capital H es. I cannot find out anything on the painter so I surmise the value is very low but the workmanship is awesome. The workers in the rice paddy are distinct- one of them you can see the ripple in the water
around his/her leg. I am not an artist but there are no ripples in the rice paper from the water colors. The tree foliage is distinct too. Any one know the artist. I bought these from a fleamarket vendor who won a bid on an estate sale "mystery box" I bought them approx. 15 yrs ago.
KNOW THE ARTIST??
