      Thanks, Val, both for the love and for the nice commentary. I try to patronize such independents when I travel. I'd recommend the Cocca motels in New York's Capitol District...Albany, Saratoga and 2 more locations...Small is good!

      Merry Christmas Ted_Straub :) -- Love the colored doors on the rooms - remember when you could stop at these places and they actually had water in the pool.

      Nice postcard Ted_Straub. I have been thru Manning, S.C. quite a few times work, and I think this building is still there. I will check it out next time I go thru and try to get a "after" photo to post. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! TG
