This great looking jacket from Mobil Oil reflects the pride companies and their employees took in their appearance in bygone days. In days predating this jacket, the attendants would wear snappy hats along with either bowties or regular neckties.

Mid-70's they outfitted us with full uniforms. I had a Gulf, then we changed to Standard, then Amoco. - We used to check your tires, check your oil, and wash your windshields too, every single customer.

Merry Christmas Ted! In my real job I frequent oil refineries, including the Exxon/Mobil refinery. Jackets, shirts, coverall etc all have these patches and more. I would never take anything but have often wondered if our CW oil and gas guys would be interested.

I was very lucky to have befriended the Unocal Reps when they were NASCAR's official fuel...they gave me some cool items. Also the same for the Texaco and Valvoline reps. Just thinking..no more Unocal nor Texaco.....sad to think about this!

Yep, also cover Citgo. Got tons of Unocal stuff somewhere. Too cold to dig it out of the garage...turkey is in the oven. Kiddos are contentedly playing with Santa toys...hubby making gravy...all is good.
