I am a young picker as you would say. I recently looked through a 40,000 sq ft warhouse packed with ww2 vintage uniforms. I pulled out a lot of uniforms just last week along with some headgear. It is a ww2 British dispatch riders helmet. The outside is a little beat up but the liner itself which is usually gone is in mint shape with the leather not cracking or dried up and the cloth part is there with no rips. This one is made by Le Levior and it is a size 55. These were used for message carriers and motorcycle troops. To relay messages to the front and to command. Very nice peice that is "farm fresh" hope you guys like my find.
WOW!! I would say thats a very very rare find! What did you have to pay for that?

I remeber seeing a lot of these in the mid 1980's. British militaria was still warehoused for decades after WW2.
It's a 1950's Belgium DR helmet, quite often mistaken for British.
