Years ago my first iridescent glass collection was Fenton Carnival Glass. Frank Fenton was the first to produce this "poor man's Tiffany" about 1905. My collection continued to grow to about 300 pieces.
Only later did I start collecting American Art Glass with a Tiffany vase.
Eventually I sold off all my Carnival Glass except for this one piece which I kept as a reminder of the collection.
