We love this Elegant Vintage Pressed Glass Relish / Butter Dish.
Because I have sold off a lot of items that we had stored in our basement, when the Hubster saw me photographing it, he instantly blurted "now you're selling my butter dish?!"
We use the dish (not fish) for leaving butter out on the counter.
Fish would leave an unpleasant scent. LoL
I said NoOo..... I'm only posting photo's on cw. LoL
But I truly loved how he claimed this dish as his own, especially considering it came from my bloodline. Too funny!
It has double scroll pattern handles
Its rectangular in shape
It's very well made of heavy pressed glass
The bottom is molded in a pointed hobnail pattern, and each bump reflects the light in rounded sparkles.
Unknown maker, and age.
There is no maker's mark on it anywhere.
It originally had a gold trim around the rim, and I assume the handles as well.
Measurements:
8 3/8 inch Long - from end to end, including handles.
4 inches wide
1 1/4" tall
The Rubber Biscuit Photo is for *¡*... which, btw... are fantastic ;-)
Thank you for the love xo agh, I hope you have a lovely day :-)
I can see why he would want to claim it as his own, lovely!
