Inherited from my grandparents; Unsure if it is a creamer, a wine pitcher/decanter, or a facny Italian water vase with an unusual handle. 'Made in Italy' stamped on bottom, heavy brass/possibly bronze?, and beautifully designed- but I have no clue about it (other than Grandma stuffed it full of packing peanuts so we would stop using it at tea parties). Any thoughts will be appreciated!

Yes yours is really nice, the Italians have a lot of finesse. Shame about mine took to a friend in the car it chipped on the way as it was silver plated it shows mettle under it. Never mined its still a nice jug. Thanks for showing yours. Happy New year.

I believe this is an ewer , they're usually in pairs and back in the day they used to put them outside on them big stones coming out of they're mansions, I forget what you call them, Pillars maybe, I"m sure they still do !!
