The first of my depression glass posts. Although this is actually Elegant Glass. It is much brighter than the rest of my pink depression glass, like a pink version of uranium glass.
This was made by the New Martinsville Glass Co. It is set #1926 Condiment Tray.
New Martinsville Glass ceased to be by 1944. The piece is probably 1920s-30s.
Also if anyone could tell me the patern that would be appreciated.
your table set is New Martinsville Glass Co. #1926 and is considered Elegant Glass; not sure that there was a specific name for the pink color as many companies made various shades of pink during the depression era. It would never be considered Vaseline glass since it is not yellow; tho' if it contains uranium it would glow brightly under black light. This is just a bright vibrant pink glass.
It's a very pretty set.
