Found this little 6" vase along with the Chinese one at the same GW. It's a reproduction made by Fenton for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. An example of "cased " satin glass with a diamond optic pattern in the white layer. This type of glass was popular in the 1880's-1890's. At first it didn't seem to be marked, but in bright light you can faintly see "MMA"in capital letters and the "Fenton" oval below it. -Mike-
