Intresting silver and copper earrings

I have finally some time to take pictures of jewelry because my kids are out of the house for a few days!
I bought these silver and copper earrings some years ago on a flea market. They are sterling silver. I just bought them because they are silver honestly. I actually dont really like them but they intrigue me, and thats always a good thing!
I dont know anything about them. They have some sort of ethnic feeling to them. My first thoughts were Mexico but upon closer inspection I don't think they were made in Mexico, cause they are just stamped 925. I dont know how old they are, for all I know, they could be brand new. So, any thoughts on them would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!
