This chess set was purchased presumably in the 1950-60ths, we believe it's made from ivory or plastic (made to look like ivory), it is quite large around 50 cm wide. It was bought some 30 years ago in Japan we believe but the inscriptions on the pieces look to be korean, maybe? The "lids" have embroidered dragons which look to be chinese.
Have anyone seen these chess sets before or know anything about them, please tell and help us solve this mystery chess game.
