    This a Western Electric 102 desk phone with the "seamless" E1 receiver. If I got my facts correct, these were put into service from 1927 thru 1929. This was the round base.
    The next Western Electric desk model came the "202". The ovel base.

      I think so too. Not only are the 102's more hard to find but I like how the dial stand out more with the smaller round base.
