It's unique, very nice vase.
I tried searching for something similar, did not find any matches.
thank you for you comment and help, with the lead thats its Art Deco and i checked stoneware could it be a French Keramis Green Nude Stoneware ? i f
Dear Phil,
No when i received it there wasn't one , i don't know a lot the vase apart from it being Art Deco which you kindly inform me of in a earlier post, its very cold in the UK
The pattern on the vase appears to be Eve in the Garden of Eden. Notice the snake wound around the apple tree one one side and then her figure on the other. maybe that's something to go on. I'll check around too -Mike-
Guess I should have looked at your title....lol Still checking though. -Mike-
I think it looks like Peters and Reed in style but not finding the pattern.
thanks mikelv85, any help would be greatly appreciated
This is an example of Peters and Reed https://americandinnerwareantiques.com/pottery.html
Dear mikelv85, brilliant, I will check it after work thank youuuuuuuu
I think you're right Phil It's does have a bit of a medieval German or maybe Italian Renaissance look to it.
Good evening mikelv85,Phil I had a look at Peters and Reed link and other images and there are similarities regarding the vase with the leaves, also the inside of my vase has a matt finish and what ever is made from is reddish possible clay or stoneware and quite heavy.
The vase belonged to my late Auntie who had a few Art Deco items from Germany the nearest thing i found was a Keramis Green Nude Stoneware vase , the colour dark olive green is quite hard to find. but i shall keep on searching.weather cold and very wet still no snow as yet
Hi Phil, thank you again for all your help i will make some enquires
