    They called it an ENGLISH MUSIC SHEET BOX.
    Can anyone help me with the stamp / sign in the photo..
    I'm trying to know the origin or manufacturer ?

      The stamp is a Victorian registered date stamp..never seen it on furniture normally glass or ceramics...found this, it may help in some way!...:-)

      Sorry! I for a moment thought you were talking about the table but! if you are not, the item under the table is a 'coal scuttle' if I am not mistaken..here are a few others...:-)

      I'm with inky. The form is typical of a coal scuttle.
      English registration marks.
      My reading is: April 4, 1870.

      The II above the 4 refers to the Class of Material, in this case wood.
