taken in august 1975 with a minolta srt 101 35mm slr camera in birmingham city centre by the old then snow hill station, his portrait in brickwork is just down on the left were there is or was a pond-in the background is pictures of the history of steam trains.
demolished as most of the buildings in the background to make way for a completely new ring road to acess the new snow hill station
photo along with some others i took back then of the city centre sent to CARL CHINN local historian who copied them and are in birmingham central libray in 2000-hence on back 'now 25 years old'.
the gardens were opened in 1968 on the 5th anniv of president kennedys death on 21st november 1963 by a gunman when he was travelling in an open top car.
