My 12 year old son bought this tin type fir $2. Not sure how old the tintype is or the value. We have never seen another photo with so many dolls. Any information about age or the value would be much appreciated.

Very nice photo of dolls . I can tell from a few of them their age . The big one in center is a "Flat top China doll (Germany) " dates her about 1860-1870's . There are a few bisque and more china's and also a wax over doll . Hard to see their hair and faces to date them all. But your photo has to date later than 1860's . We have a few that may have another way to date it . Wecome to CW and a wonderful post :-)

Nice image and welcome to CW!

Some additional images of the full photograph may help to date it. Also size makes a difference in value.

Add some photos and details and I would be happy to give you a ballpark figure on value.
