    Here is the example that I have...although not the same, the basic mottling is similar. I do find it very interesting that your piece has the dull/vaseline-like finish to the top portion...like Jericho said...its like they turned the bowl inside out and then added the mottling to the foot and underside... Great Piece.

      Thanks for the post. The dull finish on mine may be a little more unusual but I think this example of yours is much more appealing to the eye - not only the colors but the shape as well.

      I just looked more closely at this one. When I look at the outside the yellow "spatters" appear duller than the red/orange - are they (red/orange) between the outer and inner layers of glass ? Also your bowl has the same dull finish as mine, but on the inside, correct?
