I so love this tree and I am sooo! into recycling that I am using this lovely photo from last year...Thank you all for your wonderful support and look forward to another lovely year with you all...MERRY CHRISTMAS and A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR...

This is a stunning 'Pohutukawa Tree' (pronounced as it is spelt) that flowers over Christmas..known here as the Christmas tree...the photo was taken a day or two late I see it on my walk and it was glorious when totally covered, when I took my camera back it had started to loose some of it's flowers, but still beautiful!

Bonne annee again Inky. There is a tree that grows in the Caribbean basin that blooms during Christmas & it has white flowers. Guess what it's called locally? A Christmas tree!! Never would have guessed that, right?
