Any ideas on this profusely busy Gilded Cranberry Vase? It measures 6" tall with a 1 1/2" diameter flat polished base and is decorated with Heart-shaped designs on the bulbous lower section and scrolls and chains on the tapered body. It is unmarked and has lots of natural age wear. Thanks everyone and Happy New Year, sincerely, BOB

Aww. Its sooo sweet Loumanal & love its colour!
It's so pink that it's hard to call it Cranberry but I suspect that its very very old and cranberry in the Victorian days was this color. Thanks Vintagefran and shawnl86 for the love! RER(BOB)
It's beautiful. Almost has a Parisian interpretation of middle eastern flavour...I have a few vases this colour, all late 1/4 of 19th century.
Is the gold totally gold or dropped over glass dots like Moriage work? That's a hell of a lot of gold in such a tiny vase.
Just adorable...I think you're very lucky to own it. Which country did you buy it in?
It looks like Silver Overlay in a dotted persian style and also Moriage. Reminds me of "Henna" Tattoos. It was found in an Antique/Flea market in Ottawa, Canada. Thank you paris1925 and AnneLanders for the comments and love. RER(BOB)
