My dad received two chairs from his grandmother that are like the first picture. I don't know much about them. He has two, each with a different pattern on the upholstery.

    My grandmother lived in Wyoming.

I recently acquired the chair in the second picture at a local antique store. The owner told me the chair is probably from the 1920s. The chair is 514/852.

The chairs are a little different on the back and have different upholstery. When I found the second chair, it had been reupholstered with the embroidery shown.

I'm interested in knowing more about these chairs: maker, year, etc.

Looks like a tell city floral design. The flower is a bit high on the back so you need to research that. The last picture looks like an original seat. Most of my sarcasm gets removed but this looks like it might be a tell city chair. I think your date is probably way off. Never believe what someone tells you, not even me, do your own research once you have some information to go with. I would suggest Tell or William Tell chairs. Floral design (not rose design). The company has an online archive you can compare your chair with. Pay attention to when they started with fabric seats.

I sold 4 of these chairs like your first photo. They were with a duncan phyfe dining table. I'm thinking the set was from the 1940's or later.

I agree with "ettasattic" I have one of these chairs and have done some extensive research, at first I though Tell city, but I found out it was a Duncan Phyfe Carved Rose Mahogany Wood Side Chair.
