My name is Julie , I live in Sydney Australia , I was wondering if you could please give me any information to a vintage teddy bear I purchased 30 years ago from a deceased estate ? I was once told he could be a chilterns bears ? He is fully movable arms , legs , head , press his tummy and he plays a lovely lullaby , the person that said they thought he was chilterns bear said the lullaby was Brahmas' Lullaby , he has orange and black glass eyes , long golden mohair , with a slight black tread , velvet pads and stitched nose and mouth , although slightly off centred lol ,
Bruin was the name of a Teddy Bear Company not a song but several companies did make musical bears back to 1920 . Your Bear maybe a Schuco or Chilton or Chad valley . I will try and locate my Teddy Bear book later and look .

Thank you so much manikin for your reply , and greetings from Sydney Australia , I would appreciate any thing you can tell me about ted , ted was my grandfathers name so I felt it fitting , he AWAYS come out with tunes us kids never heard of lol , I don't even know how ted got all the way to Australia , but glad he did ,

Can you believe I found the tune , sorry I got the wording wrong memory lol , the tune is Brahms' Lullaby by Johannes Brahms , does that help ?
