I picked up this Art Deco Pink Candy Dish recently and at first thought it could be by Paden City Glass because of the color similarity to their cheriglo pink. I could not find it in my reference books on Paden City, Tiffin-U.S.Glass, New Martinsville or other N. American glassmakers. I googled "Covered Candy Dishes" and did find a similar one that had a checkered edge near the rim and in the same color. They claimed it was made in Czechoslovakia. Was it a Czechoslovakian export item and if so, who and when was it made. It measures 8 1/2" tall and 5" across and has enamelled flowers on the lid. Thanks everyone, RER (BOB)
chataboutdg has this as Hocking #1093 but no reference:

Love all the green and pink in the first photo
Thanks Tallcakes! That's the one that was shown, with the checked rim, as a Czech product in the Google "image" search. The pink in my Dish is so like the Depression Colored Pink glassware that it had to be N. American. So it's Hocking # 1093, that's great. Thank you also Aimathena, SEAN68, Moonstonelover21 and aghcollect for the Love. BOB
