Got this for $10 so I don't think I got hurt to badly. This is an electric portable sewing machine from which I believe they originally started making in 1900. Last patent is 1913 so it probably 100 years old. Has the case and original owners manual along with several other accessories. Haven't tried to see if it works yet due to bare spots on the power cord.

You did not get hurt bad at all . Nice machine . It did not start out as an electric machine however . It started out as a treadle . I have several of these machines two of them have been put into a case like this one but all three of the machines like this that I have started out as treadle machines . They are very good machines and I really like the ones I have .

Thank you DobbinDee70. I was wondering if it had been a treadle. Thank for the information.
