Here's a vintage McCoy model 19 model airplane engine, best I could figure mid1960's? The mounts need work but I have no plans on using it in a plane, but you can bet ill run it on the bench! Anybody know where I can get a glow plug?
Frankie - I have some Champion glow plugs still in their little boxes, never used (type V and a type V-2) - is this what you need?
I'm not sure, I have no experience with these things at all. if the price is right i'll try them?
I have some old model airplane engine books, manuals, and catalogs - I will dig them out and see if I can locate your engine model #.
Thanks, I'd appreciate any info you could give me. I have NO experience with these motors but it's kind of growing on me.
I inherited my books, plane kits, and the parts so I have no experience either. They are from 1942 to 1973 so I may come across some information. I just need some time to dig the stuff out again. In the meantime, send me an email to the address shown under my name on my home collectors page and we can drop the conversation from here.
I have a McCoy .049 and a O.S. (large, don't know what size)mounted on a board ,they both have fuel tanks, and are ready to see if they will run!I found a glow plug for mine on e-bay,if you know the brand and size, just search that.
I don't have any info on it. I don't know what size or type. Hopefully Aghcollect can dig something up? What type/size battery would I need to run it?
