I don't know much about the black metal one, and would like to know if anyone has seen one like it ?
This is a collection of crochet hooks passed down in the family.
I'am getting old enough now where we have lost a generation of grandparents and parents.
When we still have our family members with us first and most importantly enjoy them, also engage them in the family history. Their past will go with them and unless recorded it will be lost.

The black one looks like it was made out of a speedometer cable.

lol. Well we do have engineering geniuses in our family. I did have "the crochet lady offer to purchase it" but she didn't offer any explanation.
