I love my red line hotwheels from 60s and early 70s
I think I want to start collecting these. What do I need to know? What is redline? Your collection is so cool....from your childhood! Nice!
redlines were made in 1968 and they put red lines around the tires. They did this till 1977 .Mosst all in case are 1968-1970 and can get very expensive.some seel for thousands each. Thanks for all your intrest. and your loves
Maybe I will start collecting something that doesn't cost thousands each. They are cool though! You've got the goods Toyman!
NO wanabepicker some do. One sold for thousands. The prices are avarage prob.$40.00 for a cheaper redline not a camaro or any rare color.I have a very nice pink lincoln you can see it if you look. Thanks for enjoying my item's and chat anytime.
Thanks kerry for liking some of my redlines
What a coincidence! When I went to a swap meet with A LOT of old items, I bought some redlines. I got two stock cars, a red one and a yellow one #38. I THINK the red one might be #23 or something but I'm not sure. Great pieces though.
Do you know how much those ones are worth? I think you might have them on the second row. Just wondering... I don't like selling items 'cause I get attached to them and I think they're really cool, but for some reason I ALWAYS want to see what my items are worth. :)
I think I paid 30 for 2 But I would never sell for thatif i sold any. Prob 50-75 each ? Dont sell yours though and remember condition is everything .Feel free any time I you have a question. If I can help I would love to.Thanks for liking my stuff boomer sooner psu

used to have a large HotWheels collection. Then I discovered ebay. I made money but really regret selling
I have a Hot Wheels race set I'm trying to know more about. Wide dark grey tracks, big curves, has F1 race cars that charge in pit row, press charge release, and they go like stink. I have 3 and cant find info in either Tomarts.
Hi timaddog Yes I think the f-1 was intrduced in 1971 by sizzlers.Does your motors in cars still work ? Thanks blair for the love
These look great! How many redlines do you have in your collection? I see a couple of Mongoose and Snake pieces in the case, and at least 1 Farb and 1 Heavyweight on top! I'm also a Hot Wheels collector myself (redline all the way through the present), so I enjoy learning about other folks' collections. Good stuff.
I wish that I had kept my Boss Hoss from my childhood. My mother made me give it away to someone when we were visiting relatives. My friends back home almost had a fit when they found out that I had just given it away. Oh well. I probably would have just traded it away to some older friend that was "slicker" than I was. I remember trading him eight of my cars for eighteen of his. Being only eight or nine years old at the time, I didn't realize that I was trading eight of my "mint" cars for eighteen of his "junkers". Live and learn. Live and learn.
Awesome....simply awesome.
Awesome! What are you using as a display case?
