Here's the other 4 pictures of it. The third picture is of a piece of leather on the back of the trunk where the hinge is that connects the lid to the trunk. I showed the hardware with hopes that it would help identify the trunk's age. Any help would be so appreciated.
So the hinges are made of leather?
I don't know for sure. The trunk is tucked away in a corner now. I will have to move stuff to get to it and will examine it closer to determine if the leather IS the hinge or it's covering the hinge.
Its hard to tell from your pictures, but I am pretty sure your trunk is European. English or German I believe. Look at the locks for any printing as to which country. This is classic Euro construction, thin strap metal (always wrinkled) very small heads on the nails, Euro locks, usually two of them, different style of canvas, and striped interior covering.
