This is an old, heavy meat slicer. Only identifying marks are "Leland Motors" on the motor. Very heavy. Looking for any info on this slicer. Thank you!

That wouldn't be considered very old where I live.

I don't know...it weighs at least 100 lbs and is all cast iron and stainless. I'm thinking 40's or 50's....any idea on brand?

These go forever & as long as you can get the parts & kept clean, they are considered as new here.

Nice old slicer. Could you get a picture of the data plate on the motor? There is no ground on the plug shown and I kind of wondered if it is UL listed and what the motor ratings are. Diameter of the blade might also be helpful.

I added the plate on the motor. Does anyone have a thought on a fair asking price? This is a great old machine, but is just too much for my needs.

      Blade is 10 inches.

      Thanks for the help!

Really wouldn't think much. A girl friend has a somewhat newer one in my garage that she picked up at a yard sale for $50. & after she charmed me to clean it & get it assembled, - it still sits in my garage. No offers.

I haven't rotated the picture to read the data plate yet but it appears to be an old commercial unit. If it is then here in Florida where I live used commercial slicers in working condition start about $400. average is $600. Keep in mind that is for a commercial grade clean slicer in working condition. The home owner units don't have enough power to slice much. I keep telling my wife we don't need a commercial slicer but I don't think she is listening. I keep looking them up and just tell her it isn't in the budget.

Fhr, this girl here would probably jump at $100 for her's & shipping to MIA would probably be about $40. It's a heavy restaurant type & in good condition. Current production so parts are available. If interested, let me know. Don't think I'm breaking any rules since this is 3rd party & I would be happy to get it out of the garage (along with a lot of her other stuff!). She house-sat my place when I went to McDonalds Land in March & ghetto'd my place so I might let you have it for shipping cost. Can give you make & model tomorrow.
