This cabinet is unusual as it is much wider on one side than the other. Eleven inches on one side and five inches on the other. It is 22 inches high and 19 inches wide.
Got a bit of this and that for the depression glass pieces.
My question here we be about the cabinet. I am fairly sure it was repainted in a shabby chic style. Not sure what it is called and what the purpose was for it. Looks to be from the 1900s-1920s.
Where is the triple love button! Gorgeous cabinet and glassware. I have a couple of those pieces.
Thank you Aimathena. I will count that as a triple love.
Thank you Dr Fluffy.

Thank you nutsaotas6. I had a few different things in that cabinet before going with the green.
Possibly valentino97. It definitely seems like it was for a specific place. My green depression ware thanks you too.
Thank you inky. Good luck with your new villa.

Thank you Tutzie for your kind words and the love.
Thank you miKKoChristmas11.
This post has me wanting to find a tall vintage display cabinet for my depression glassware. The cabinets they are in now have solid doors.
Aimathena hope you get one soon. You can never have too many display cabinets.
Thank you fort :)
I'll be happy to have one with glass doors.
They're stored in my kitchen cabinets right now, and my cabinets have solid doors. I really want to have them on display.
Thank you toolate2
Thank you Kerry 10456.
Hi F, Lovely glass & i love the cabinet, i like its fancy work along the top. I wonder if it was once a bathroom/medicine cabinet with the lock
Thank you Vintagefran. Hmmm I think you may be on to something with the medicine cabinet. For someone who needed lots and lots of medicine.
Maybe it was for linens... towels and wash clothes. And that's why the depth differs?
Also a good possibility. At least I know it works well for depression glass.
Perfectly, and probably the best ;)
