Early 1900's Postcard - House

This is an early photo postcard of a house in South Hadley, Massachusetts. This would eventually become my grandparents home in the early 1940's. Both sides of my grandparent's family have lived in this area since the mid-1800's and my grandfather's side traces back into the 1700's here. The home and it's adjoining 10 1/2 acre agricultural estate are still family-owned and at least nine of the surrounding properties are relative-owned. This home was built by my great-grandfather and great-uncle and they are pictured on the front porch with their families. Far left side is my gr.-grandfather holding my newborn grandfather in his arms. The VELOX postage stamp box on reverse dates this photo card at 1907-1917.
