This is one of my favorite antique prints of a Native American on horse back ,it is after a sculpture by Cyrus Edwin Dallin born 1861- 1944 .He was known for his bronze sculptures of Native Americans and also the equestrian statue of Paul Revere in Boston, he was a L. D. S. member and known for the angel symbol that represents the church. The Sioux Chief looks to be appealing to the heavens above, with arms spread wide ,I think it is most symbolic spiritually and beautiful! I love the detail ,even though it has some foxing and color fading, there is a signature at the bottom but it is also faded and I'm not sure what company produced this version , the frame too is antique , I've owned this picture for over 30 years and never could find any information about it,and by chance while searching for something else I lucked up on a image that led me to the sculpture and the true artist Cyrus E. Dallin
