Bakelite bangles

Hi there,

I have seen so many amazing Bakelite jewelry designs, but realized that I hadn't ever seen other examples like these bangles that my Mom had. I wore these when I was younger, then got to a point where I was too concerned about losing one so wore them less and less.

They seem to be in pairs of solid and translucent yellows, blues, and green - there's only one solid red - can't recall whether there was ever a translucent one...

Just thought I would share! Would love to know if anyone has seen this type before - will keep them in the hopes that my daughter (not her style :( ) will give me a grandchild to pass it along to...
