I have no idea who the maker is of this beautiful piece of salt glaze earthenware. It has a lovely bronze shade to the brown glaze and stands approximately 32 cm's tall.
It is extremely heavy even though it is hollow inside and the only mark I can find is a number 8. This has a modernist look about it, like its a giant knight chess piece, any clues to it origin would be really helpful?
