I think the discussion below speaks for itself in helping to identify this vase and helping me move it from the "interesting but unknown" pile to the "near-definite ID" pile.
Thank you all for contributing to the thread.
This interesting basic shape seems to have been used with variations by a number of houses in Czechoslovakia and reminds me of a chess rook.
I have a tight "Spatter" one with this exact same shape. Is the inside of your vase a different color from the outside? I too wonder how old these bulbous-shaped vases really are. RER(BOB)
Here are photos & link & info. on my vase. RER(BOB)

Thanks, Loumanal. I have edited my post accordingly, and will have a look out for other comments on yours.
Ian
Mine is orange inside.
I don't think it's Kralik.

Maybe you have answered mine and Loumanal's question, Charcoal - thank you.
You're welcome Ian. We have been studying this shape a little. As for Lumanal's vase, rarely is it that there is a live decor that so closely matches the Ruckl decor table. Many matches require some degree of interpolating guided by shapes.
I can tell you to expect more information to be posted soon. Meanwhile here's your shape in a yellow spatter decor. See right side of 2nd picture.

Thanks a lot. I find spatters the most difficult and am still getting to grips with shapes. Keep me updated. Ian
