My poor clock......2 months after I bought it, it's broken :( No more beautiful chimes to soothe at night. I was winding it today and heard a noise and the key just slacked and turned with no resistance. The main spring had broken away from it's mounting on the clock's movement. The strike and chime springs are still fine and fully wound . Hermle main springs are suppose to be easy to replace but I don't know how much I'll have to disassemble to get at it, let alone the cost. Guess I'm going to find out. -Mike-

Mike, shouldn't be much of a problem, most of the pieces are large enough to see what's going on. Good luck with your quest
