Wasn't looking for a large sign, but this one found me. Purchased off an eBay bid auction for approx half book value.
At 18"x60", I didn't have many options on placement. I think I found a good place at the far end of The Coke Cave. Most of my signs run the length of the room, so those that run opposite provide depth and points of focus.
Maker is Masillon-Cleveland-Akron Sign Co. (MCA). Condition is excellent. The banner does not appear to have been used for any significant period of time. Only two small pin holes in the upper corners and the fold creases mar this beauty. Well, a discrete water stain too...
It's just a great example of pre-WWII graphic art and signage.

Thanks blunderbuss for the kind words. We all enjoy hanging out down here. TGBWC Ray dubbed it a Coke Cave a couple years back, and I've used that name to describe the space ever since. Hope everything is good with you.
Well Daddy, I think it is about to stop raining after 7 wks. Some of us are surprised that the sea level hasn't risen. We feel a bit sorry for the tourist. Guess it's better than snow.
In Mid-Michigan we had the worst ice storm in 25 years , 20" of snow, and subzero weather over the two week holiday period. The "Polar Vortex" apparently decided to come down from Canada to pay us a little visit. Yesterday it was 40 degrees and sunny. Felt like Spring.
Thanks fifties! I agree, it's nice to get some blue in this room. Already lots of red, white, green, and cola brown.

Thanks Tommy. I don't think it was any picnic in your neck of the woods either? Funny, Jan-Feb seem to be slow months for Coca-Cola on eBay. Maybe a holiday hangover. Not much other than over-priced BIN's. I did however miss out on a couple sweet ones though, two that got away from me. I have the Bid Auction Blues...
