    I have tons of old, vintage canning jars. I adore the history they carry as well as their charm and character. I have a question concerning this jar that I found in the attic of my Dads garage. Does anyone know the history, date or brand of this jar? It is a 1 quart jar with 3 diamond shapes embossed down each side and the bottom is marked P-1004 and what appears to be a jar with a x or k in the center, and the number 11. Thanks in advance for your help.

      This Food jar was made by the KNOX Bottle Co. of Clarion County, PA between 1930-1952. Here is a link to the Company;

      Here is a better site for researching Glass Maker's in the US. It has a gret write-up on the Knox Plant in PA. BOB
