This is a great Steam Locomotive photographed loading up at the depot!

The locomotive is identified on the side as being made by the "Rogers Locomotive Works, Paterson NJ 1866" (see photo #3 blow up). The locomotive is #153 and served the Illinois Central Rail Road (IR CC).

The print is extremely well detailed as the box being loaded (photo #4) can be seen marked as going to "Winnebago City, Minn".

These early train images are highly collectible.

Reproduction of these images in any form is prohibited.

Thanks inky-- appreciate you looking and commenting. I am a fan of early images of steam trains. This is one of the best that I have seen.
