      I really wish it was a spittoon because I collect them but I doubt it is. Can you give us measurements? I don't chew but I like spittoons.

      OK, well it could be a ladies cuspidor. If it isn't marked it might well be a reproduction. Ladies cuspidors were normally porcelains with a floral design. Mostly made in Europe in the 1800's. They never went over big in this country but were reproduced years ago.
